REGNI DANIAE Novissima et Accuratissima TABULA, Joan Blaeu (1662) This survey map of the Kingdom of Denmark which was published by Nicolaas Visscher II (1649-1702), gives an image of Denmark around 1650. The map was based on a survey by Johann Wilhelm Lauremberg (1590-1658) and the royal geographer Johannes Mejer (1606-1674). The results of this national survey were used for the first time in 1662 by publisher Joan Blaeu (1598-1673).
